Simpsons Star To Be Dad

Hank Azaria and his galpal Katie Wright are going to be parents. Azaria voices Apu, Comic Book Guy, Moe, Chief Wiggum, Professor Frink, Dr. Nick, and others on The Simpsons, and will be seen in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian in May.

A spokesperson for the 44 year-old Azaria says "they're quite ecstatic" about the child -- a boy -- which goes without saying.

Wright is a retired actress who is going to school to become a family therapist.

No word on whether they're gonna call the boy Bart.

Hathaway Makes Fun Of Split On 'Simpsons'

Anne Hathaway has made fun of her split from Raffaello Follieri in The Simpsons.

The actress - Oscar nominated for her turn in Rachel Getting Married - will play the girlfriend of Krusty the Clown, who finds himself wrongly accused of a crime. Her Simpsons character testifies in court on Krusty's behalf.

Hathaway's ex-boyfriend Follieri was jailed for four and a half years last October after being found guilty of fraud.

Hathaway's Simpsons episode will air later this year.

Scientology Promoted in Bart Simpson's Voice

Bart Simpson is known for prank calls, but Nancy Cartwright, who provides Bart's voice on "The Simpsons," has been heard this week in a phone message using the voice of the cartoon fourth-grader to promote Scientology.

Cartwright, long a member of the church, recorded her 60-second robocall to boost attendance at a Scientology event scheduled for Saturday.

Although she identifies herself, much of the spiel is delivered in Bart's voice, wrapping up with, "See you there, man!"

The Fox network would not comment, but "Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean said the message wasn't authorized by the show, which has never "endorsed any religion, philosophy or system of beliefs any more profound than Butterfinger bars."

The Simpsons: Preview of Episode "Lisa the Drama Queen"

It has been more than a month and a half since we were treated to a new episode of The Simpsons, the last one aired on December 7.  Finally, America's favorite animated family returns tonight on our screens with an episode called “Lisa the Drama Queen.”

On the episode, Lisa meets an equally academic and creative new friend Juliet (voiced by guest star Emily Blunt) and together they construct a fantasy world that takes them both a little too far from reality.  Also on this episode, Grammy-nominated pop punk band Fall Out Boy performs a special version of the end credits theme.

s20e09 - Lisa the Drama Queen

Info: Lisa and her new friend, Juliet, create a fantasy world that gives them a break from reality.

Blackboard: I will not use permanent ink on the chalkboard.

Couch Gag: The family sits down on the couch and the camera pans back to reveal that the scene is actually the family packaged as a bunch of figurines on a couch. The package is labeled "The Simpsons Couch Gag #429." Comic Book Guy slaps a $19.99 price sticker on it and declares, "Worst. Couch gag. Ever.".
